Longing is something you can’t touch, can’t feel or hold and don’t even want to, because then it may disappear. Dreams vague, and yet tangible, images and feelings that seem to originate in your body, and not just your mind - an innate sadness that resonates through life.

There is constancy in longing, a sense that it has been and always will be there.
An ever present yearning, an itch that never goes away.

Longing is an image that we keep coming back to, keep wanting to draw, to make.
