As part of Australia’s celebration of Fair Trade Fortnight, Albion Street Galleries have
invited Tribes and Nations to showcase their products, all of which have been made by
artisans from the developing world.
Come and enjoy the design and creativity used to produce these goods - see bags
made from recycled garbage, enjoy the magnificent colours of the hand woven
scarves, feel the textures of the handcrafted jewellery made from local resources in
South Africa.
All the goods showcased have been produced abiding by fair trade principles, which
bring a ‘living wage’ to the producer, beyond subsistence or exploitation.
You are invited to view this special exhibition and enjoy Fairtrade coffee and tea while
you browse and experience this celebration.
